As a replacement to our normal classes for 2 weeks in May we are offering a special workshop introducing children ages 4 and upward to the magic of Swan Lake.

Date: Thursdays May 1st and 8th

Time: 4:30 – 5:30

Where: Sutton Benger Village School Hall

We are offering the workshop to a limited number of children ages 4 and up. The session will be a mixed age workshop that will include: warming up and learning some technique, listening to the story, watching sections of the ballet, designing our own tutus for some of the characters, learning some of the steps and using them to dance some of the story with the Swans and the main characters Odette and Seigfried.

As part of this we will be sharing resources created by the English National Ballet, who have created a shorter version of Swan Lake for children. You can watch the trailer below.
